Saudi Arabia bordering Jordan to the northwest, Iraq to the north and northeast, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates on the east, Oman in the southeast, and Yemen on the south. The country also borders the Persian Gulf to the northeast and the Red Sea to the west.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is sometimes referred to as "the Two Holy Mosques countries", as in terms of Mecca and Medina, which is two holiest Muslim cities. Saudi Arabia was founded in 1902 by Abdul-Aziz bin Saud, whose offensive started in 1902 with the reconquest of Al-Saud family's ancestral hometown of Riyadh, and culminated in 1932 with the announcement and recognition of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

One of the world's deserts make up large parts of Saudi Arabia and the climate is so dry and hot - at least between May and October.

Human rights organizations, such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have repeatedly expressed concerns about human rights in Saudi Arabia, concerns have been dismissed by the Saudi government. Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world where women can not drive or vote in elections. It practiced the death penalty for gays. Sharia Law is also practiced in Saudi Arabia
